‘Stranger Things’ is getting a wild, reversible Lego set

Here’s the thing about Legos: You can build them from the bottom up, or from the top down. Their studs can attach at any angle.

And so it makes sense that a Lego set for “Stranger Things” would have not only an upright, miniature version of the Byers’ house; but also a bluer Upside Down with complete with figurines that can hang, yes, upside down.

The “Lego Stranger Things: The Upside Down” set hangs midair, supported by Lego trees that can be flipped 180 degrees. Well played, Lego.

The whole play set, which includes 2,297 pieces and was developed with Netflix, has eight characters from the series that can be placed up or down: Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will, Joyce, Hopper and a Demagorgon.

And there are plenty of little details for fans waiting for the new season (airing July 4), from Eleven’s waffle to Lucas’ slingshot, Dustin’s toothless grin and Will’s Mind Flayer drawing. Also: Get a load of the alphabet wall that can light up.

The “Stranger Things” Lego set is available to the public June 1 (and May 15 to Lego VIP members) for $199.99.
