Pay $9.99 per month for Spotify Premium? You can get some free Hulu on the side.
In a partnership announced Tuesday, the two popular streaming services announced that they would team up, offering a bundle to new and existing Spotify Premium subscribers.
Hulu charges $5.99 per month for its ad-supported option that it’s bundling with Spotify.
If you are already a Spotify Premium subscriber, you can add Hulu by logging into the “Your Services Page” on Spotify’s website. New Spotify users will get access to both services for 30 days for free, then will pay $9.99 per month.
Those who signed up for last year’s Spotify and Hulu partnership will automatically have their $12.99-per-month rate lowered to $9.99.
The deal runs until June 10, so those who are interested may want to act quickly. Spotify’s $14.99 family plans are not eligible for the offer.
If you already pay for Hulu and Spotify you can sign up for the deal through the music service. After signing up and going to Hulu’s site you’ll recieve a message prompting you to migrate your account and switch the billing.
Monday, Apple announced it will hold an event March 25 in Cupertino, California. After years of rumors, Apple, which offers Spotify rival Apple Music, is likely to finally take the wraps off of its new video streaming service that may have the backing of Hollywood heavyweights.
Bloomberg reported that a number of Hollywood stars could be in attendance at the event, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner and director J.J. Abrams.
