Liam Hemsworth was recently hospitalized with a “pretty annoying” health problem so had to skip the world premiere of his movie “Isn’t It Romantic,” but sent his wife, Miley Cyrus, along instead. (Feb. 12)
What ever happened to Hannah Montana? Miley Cyrus, who played the fictional pop star on Disney Channel, has a theory.
During Thursday’s episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” where the actress and singer was a guest judge, she joked about the reason Montana vanished.
The moment came as RuPaul announced the lip-sync battle song was Hannah Montana’s “The Best of Both Worlds.”
“Hey, whatever happened to her?” RuPaul asked.
“A lot of drugs,” Cyrus responded to laughs from the judging panel.
Cyrus has been open about her own drug use. In 2013, she told Rolling Stone that weed “is the best drug on earth” and that she also liked Molly.
Cocaine, however, she said wasn’t her drug of choice.
“I really don’t like coke. It’s so gross and so dark,” she told the magazine. “It’s like what are you, from the ’90s? Ew.”
In 2017, Cyrus took a toned down approach to drug use, telling Billboard that she was giving up smoking marijuana. More recently, in Dec. 2018, she told The Sun that her mother, Tish Cyrus, reintroduced her to cannabis and now she smokes on occasion.
