911 received multiple calls describing country star Miranda Lambert’s fight at a restaurant in Nashville where she was said to be with her mom and a man.
Metro police responded to a Nashville steakhouse over the weekend after Miranda Lambert reportedly got into a fight with another customer.
“I have two guests about to get into a fistfight…Miranda Lambert,” a woman who identified herself as an employee at the restaurant, Stoney River, told a Metro Nashville dispatcher. “She just ran out the door, and got into it with another couple right here…. I’m sorry my manager just said call 911.”
Metro police spokeswoman Kris Mumford said officers responded to the fight call at the restaurant at 8 p.m. Sunday – the same night the Grammys were being broadcast from Los Angeles.
When officers arrived they spoke to several men there but they did not want to cooperate.
“No one at the restaurant would do anything either, so no report was taken,” Mumford said.
But several 911 calls made that night revealed more about the incident.
“Why were they trying to fight?” a dispatcher asked an employee at the restaurant in one call.
“Something happened in the restaurant between these two gentlemen, and another gentleman walked up to her table and started cussing him out,” the woman told the dispatcher. “This is the third time they’ve gotten into it, and now Miranda is trying to hit people, and she’s flipping plates over on them.”
The caller said Miranda was in the steakhouse with her mother and a man before the incident broke out.
In another 911 call made from the business, a woman told a dispatcher she needed police help.
“There’s an altercation between two guests, and it’s about to get physical. Our managers are trying to hold them back but we can’t,” the woman said.
She described the two people about to fight as a male in his 30s and a male in his 60s.
“Is anyone hurt or need an ambulance?” the dispatcher asked.
“Not yet,” that caller responded.
