Happy Valentine’s Day! I love you!

I also love shopping, especially when I find a bargain price on something that’s actually awesome. Just as in love, if a sale sounds too good to be true, there’s probably a catch. Maybe something looks very pretty but then you find out it’s not that good at anything. Maybe you really, really want to love it but it’s just not the right fit. Maybe the price is right, but the quality of the service is lacking.

More: 10 Valentine’s Day gifts women actually want

Unlike romance, I always look before I leap when it comes to shopping. Every day, I sift through countless “deals” looking for red flags that make them actually not that great. And when I find something that checks all my boxes (great price, solves a problem, has good reviews from my coworkers and regular consumers), I share it with you as fast as I can. No one should miss a chance to get something awesome for less.

So, my valentine to you, dear reader, is a list of the best deals you can get right now. Whether you’re searching for a belated gift or looking for a pick-me-up, I hope you find something (and someone, if that’s what you want) you’ll love.

1. Everyone’s favorite DNA kit

AncestryDNA, the most popular DNA testing kit out there, is a great way to learn something new about your heritage. And with the new Traits add-on, you can get more insight into everything from your curly hair to your cilantro aversion. Right now, Ancestry is running a sale that cuts the price of their DNA kits nearly in half, marking the second best sale price we’ve ever seen. You can find the same sale price on the Ancestry site as well as on Amazon. And if you want Traits

2. The best portable projector

I have been using this projector from Anker for the last six months and it has changed my life. I don’t need to clutter my bedroom up with a big, ugly TV. I just pop this guy on my bed and watch a 10-foot TV right on my wall. Right now it’s under $400, the second best price it’s ever been, and this typically $500 device is more than worth it.

We recently tested it in a more official capacity as well, and it was no surprise to me that the Mars II crushed the competition and earned the title of Best Portable Projector. It displays 720p picture, auto focuses, and has all the streaming apps you need built in. Plus, since it runs on Android OS, you can cast your phone or laptop screen to the projector wirelessly. It also has an HDMI port, which I use to play video games on the wall in my living room while my boyfriend plays on the regular TV.

3. A fantastic photo printer at its best price

Most of us haven’t picked up an actual camera in longer than we realize. Smartphone cameras are more than adequate these days, but the problem is the photos we take never leave our phones. Other than the ones we painstakingly edit to share on social, most are relegated to occasional glances as we scroll through pages of thumbnails.

Portable photo printers allow you to revive the age-old tradition of printing and displaying your favorite snaps, and one of the best ones out there, the HP Sprocket, is on sale for the lowest price we’ve ever seen. It wasn’t the best photo printer we tested, but only because the app was a little janky (and that’s the kind of thing that can fix itself with an update fro HP). The photo quality was great and it printed fast, and for $70, why not? Plus, a 20-pack of photo paper is only $5 right now, half off its usual price.

*Note: This won’t ship until Feb. 22, but for this price it’s worth the wait.

4. The best smart sprinkler at its lowest price ever

We may be in the throes of winter, but it’s actually a great time to start planning your spring garden. One thing that can really help your flowers and produce grow to their full potential? A smart sprinkler that takes the guesswork out of keeping your plants happy and healthy.

The second-gen. Rachio Smart Sprinkler is one of the best there is. It’s actually the predecessor of our favorite smart sprinkler, and was the top option before the third-gen. model came out. Right now, the originally $180 sprinkler system is down to the best price we’ve ever seen. It works with Alexa and Google Home, can reduce your water bills, and looks at local weather data to determine how much water your garden or lawn need based on your region, your plant selection, and other customizable details.

Get the Rachio 2 Smart Sprinkler with 8 Zones for $126.68 (Save $53.31)

5. The best fitness tracker at a near Black Friday price

The Fitbit Charge 3 is far and away the best fitness tracker we’ve ever tried. The only one that came close in our tests was the Fitbit Charge 2, but the newest model goes above and beyond with a battery that claims to last up to seven days (but typically lasts much longer, in my experience). It’s also completely waterproof, so you can wear it in the rain, in the shower, in the pool, and at the beach without worrying. Right now you can get it for just a few bucks more than the lowest price ever, which came during Black Friday weekend.
